There's a lot more to the Three Crowns than meets the eye. This delightful old inn has been extended extensively over its long life and the building is far larger than it appears from its imposing granite façade on Chagford's main street.

When refurbishment is complete we will have 16 ensuite bedrooms. A major part of the refurbishment has included the installation of a new boiler and pumped hot water system.

The five bedrooms in the oldest part of the building, at the front, are being redecorated in a traditional style to complement the 13th century architecture - but with all today's modern comforts. These are due to be completed this year.

After this part of the project is complete, the remaining rooms will be completely refurbished and decorated in a more contemporary style, reflecting their more recent construction.

We believe in using local suppliers wherever we can and are working with specialist upholsterers and interior designers from Chagford and the surrounding area. We think the results will be stunning.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, except in the dining room.
